Would love to know what the little green ‘balls’ are in today’s Farm Box.

They are Asian Guavas! I haven’t gotten mine yet, but farmer Kenny said they would be in the upcoming CSA boxes. They pick them when they are green, but they need to ripen on the counter until they are yellow and fragrant. Then you can eat them or cook with them. They can be used in jams, compotes or marinades. When I get mine, I will play around a little with them and post some recipes. If they are still firm and green, hold on to them until I have some stuff on the blog!
